Project Description

Flooded Home in The Bridges Golf Course in Montrose, CO

This client was located in the Bridges Golf Course in Montrose, CO. They had a 30,000 gallon flood and ruined all flooring in the entire house. The drywall was cut 2 feet high in the entire house and had to be blended in. The most notable fixes were the cabinets and the flooring. The cabinets were high end custom cabinets that had to be custom built in order to match what was there before. This was especially important because the built-in entertainment center and several other cabinets throughout the house were the same style and color so the match was very important. The wood floor was another difficult material to match. We eventually ordered the wood flooring from a custom Amish mill in Ohio and all 1,500 square feet of the material was hand scraped. It was very costly and time consuming, but we were able to get it covered by the insurance in order to get her house back to pre-loss condition.
